The history of the Chapel of the Holy Right Hand is so adventurous that it needs more verification. It was located in the Royal Castle of Buda while a collapsed storey of the Royal Palace protected it from total devastation. During the 1950s, lorries brought the interior of the chapel to Balatonalmádi, where it was restored by expert hands. From 2007 its walls protect the bone relic of Blessed Gisella, this way Balatonalmádi could become the place of pilgrim-age for the first Holy Royal Family of Hungary.
