The area of the Outparish of the Balatonalmádi Lutheran Church in Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street was a donation of a votary for the congregation. It is the place, where the towerless church was built in 1943 and it was consecrated in 1944 for temporary use as they had originally thought. The construction of the planned large church has unfortunately failed to come about. Its interior furnishing is of high level decorated by a finely carved altar, a baptismal font, the parson’s bench and the altarpiece painted by Sándor Basilides. The Lutheran symbol, a Luther rose can be seen on the facade of the church with a cross on the gable together with the Lutheran slogan: ‘Mighty fortress is our God’.
